All around Challenger Memorial Station

There is much of interest in these ten views taken by Opportunity's navigation cameras on sol 43 -- another view of the lander platform, new perspectives the rock outcrop, the dunes and drifts on the crater rim, and several weeks worth of tracks. After all that maneuvering it looks like the neighbor kid has given Challenger Memorial Station a lawn job!

These pictures would make a great panorama. That would be a lot more feasible if the cameras were level, though. Unfortunately, the panoramic stitching software that I have available is not very capable and gives improper results on much simpler scenes than this.

The viewports below will pan in the direction shown by the arrows beneath them when you place the mouse over the arrows. Use the leftmost pair for cross-eyed, rightmost for parallel-eyed.

Click on a thumbnail on the right to chose a different pair, or a red-cyan anaglyph of the scene.
